IN-HOUSE STUDIO

Jena Communications production resources include three editing and finishing workstations linked via an optical fiber network so all three workstations can be working on the same project simultaneously. This allows us to turn projects around very quickly and also lets individual artists easily contribute their respective skill sets to every job without interrupting each other's workflow. Our 100-inch HD projection system in our conference room rounds out the department with the perfect screening environment.

What is the difference between 1080i and 1080p?

In the early days of television broadcast companies solved the problem of bandwidth capacity by transmitting only half the video lines of each video frame 60 times per second. Because it was so fast you eye preserves two frames as one which completes the frame. This is interlaced frames which are designated by the "i" after the number of lines of resolution. 1080p or progressive contains the full image in each frame and therefore look sharper and is much easier to work with in post-production environments.
